First design of mine inspired by Jane Austen.
Austen's shortest work, Northanger Abbey, was written in 1798 but was not published until 1817, after her death. In this story, Catherine Morland leaves home for the first time on a trip to Bath. There she meets the entertaining Henry Tilney and his family at Northanger Abbey. Miss Catherine imagines all sorts of secrets behind the doors. Humor ensues while art and life are played out in this classic.
Verse on sampler from Northanger Abbey reads:
"Friendship is certainly the finest balm for the pangs of disappointed love."
